On April 9th, 2013, The EGC Group, in association with 1-800-Flowers.com, presented the second annual Long Island Digital Summit at the Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury, NY. Long Island, with its proximity to New York City, is home to thousands of high tech companies and is one of America's most vibrant suburban areas. Over 400 business executives from the tri-state area gathered to discuss the latest trends in web, digital marketing, and social media. Panels of industry leaders from Google, Bing, Microsoft, and other digital giants spoke about topics that included customer engagement, mobile and location, social media, usability, online advertising, search marketing, analytics, email, ecommerce, and online video, among many other topics.
